Collister United Methodist Church was built in 1913 and it is over 100 years old. The church has several stained glass arched windows. The bell tower is located in the front of the church. The bell rings on Sunday morning right before the sermon begins. Church service is on that day. The church has the characteristics of the popular Spanish Revival architecture. The windows are arched and unframed. The walls are made of stucco. The roof is made out of tiles with no over hanging eaves. There is a little cottage right by the real church. No one lives in the cottage but it is used as the Methodist Counseling Center. Inside the real church there is a place for the choir to perform. The church has a basement that has a social hall and a kitchen. At the back of the church there is a ramp for handicap access. In 2013 the church was repainted and had numerous repairs with new lighting.
