The Regan home is located on the historic Warm Springs road near downtown Boise. The Regan Home was built in 1911 by the Hummel architecture firm. This firm still exists today and has been an important part in Boise's architectural history. The Hummel Architect's were the designers or Boise High, The Capitol Rotunda Project, and some more modern building such as: Ice World, and the Syringa Bank building. The Regan home is the only Spanish Mission style house located on Warm Springs. Its open courtyard and red tile roof make you feel as though you are taking a break in a Spanish Mission located in Baja Mexico. The smaller windows and high hedges on the side of the house show the Spaniards need for privacy. The Regan Home is an excellent example of the variety that can be found in Boise.
